about me
I'm an American writer and budding interior designer with a passion for stylish storytelling across written and visual mediums. After spending my twenties as a magazine editor in New York, I went freelance and moved to Paris, where I wrote my first novel, along with features for the BBC, The Cut, Elle, Glamour, InStyle, Marie Claire, Teen Vogue and Vice—stories about love, friendship and obsessions; the post-pandemic workplace, wellness and mental health landscape; and shifting generational attitudes, tech culture and social inequity.
A few years later, I returned to the U.S. and moved to coastal Virginia, where I now live with my family. Having covered interior design as a journalist for years—including as articles editor for Business of Home magazine—decorating my first home catapulted my interest into an obsession, sparking a new creative chapter. In 2024, I started an interior design business, where I aim to create spaces that are soulful, sophisticated and surprising.
When I’m not working on client projects, you’ll find me chipping away at my next novel, chasing my toddler or shopping luxury consignment sites for my next upcycled find.
